Chris Update
It sounds like it wasn't a dislocation (probably a sub-luxation), but there's a hairline fracture, so my years of expertise will be brought into play anyway. Chris is okay, but seriously handicapped. The good news is he'll be over the worst before having to face the long-haul flight back.

Poor Chris! Hope he feels OK enough to enjoy the food and the wine and the view even if he can't swim.
ReplyDeleteYep, he's pretty good, all things considered. He should be able to get back into the sea in a few days too, so it's not all bad!
ReplyDeleteruh-oh! sounds like chris is going to need a holiday from his holiday:) thinking of you guys and sending lots of healing thoughts your way. we're missing ya...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think so too. He had a set-back yesterday (reflexively tried to catch something he thought was going to fall), and wrenched the bad shoulder pretty severely. It swelled up a lot last night, and he had a pretty bad night. Poor thing is miserable this morning.
ReplyDeleteMissing you as well.
Tallulah would love having Chris tied to the bed though. She'd be in doggie heaven here right now!
hehehehe, if she only knew...
ReplyDeletewe're up at your place today - enjoying the waikanae weather. hope chris is better today. greg sends love too.
